Red-backed Shrike 25 May 2018 Deal Hall, Dengie John Sutherby 1 Female. Found by Dave Wagstaff. If anyone is keen to try for this bird I would suggest either walking/cycling along the sea wall from Burnham-on-Crouch, or parking near one of the gates (without blocking the road, heavy farm vehicles use this road) and cycling in (it is quite a long walk).

Red-backed Shrike 19 Aug 2016 Naze, The Brian Combes 1 Flew past me as I stood on the raised path alongside the John Weston Reserve, landing on the top of bushes between the two tidal lagoons. Stayed there briefly before flying in to the reserve but not relocated. Probably a juvenile bird.
