Iceland Gull 18 Jan 2016 Writtle Andrew Stroud 1 2nd winter. This is a report for Saturday morning. This bird probably either arrives in the morning / leaves at around 3pm from the college gravel pit (first reported last week) on its way from / to Hanningfield Res.. It has a longer bill / flatter head than I would expect for an Iceland Gull (Leucistic Herring Gull?) so needs someone to take some decent photos (my camera is broken). I can not get there during the week so if anyone is in the area / Hanningfield Res. in the evenings have a look.
