GULLS – WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH! (CHELMSFORD, AFTER AGM)

Paul Roper has been studying gulls for over 40 years. His initial work involved catching gulls on landfill sites and seeking to establish what was going to happen to populations when landfill sites closed. More recently he has been studying the effects of Black-headed Gull colonies on inland rafts and how they have affected the Common Tern population. Paul will talk about this work and the association of the Gull population with landfill locations.

Please note that this talk takes place after our annual AGM which starts at 19:30. All members are welcome to attend the AGM, but if you just want to watch the talk please wait in the foyer until the AGM has finished, thank you.
