1 Red-throated Diver 2 Great Crested Grebe 22 Sanderling (Just east of pier at high tide. Very tame.) 6 Turnstone (With sanderlings. None on pier.) 21 Mediterranean Gull (16 adults (including one with much black still on head), four second winters, one ist winter.) [Andrew Cox]

100 Dunlin (At least. On mudflats to the west.) 10 Sanderling (With dunlin.) 60 Bar-tailed Godwit (Approx. One on mud. Rest overhead, moving west.) 142 Turnstone (At least. Roosting on end of pier as afternoon went on. One dunlin among them.) 22 Mediterranean Gull (End of pier.
